The Partners in the Education of Preservice Science Teachers (PEPST) Project is a multi-year project focused on improving preservice secondary science teacher preparation. The project involves a partnership between the University of Arizona College of Science Teacher Preparation Program faculty/staff and Tucson area secondary science classroom teachers. The PEPST Project is supported by: (1) The Arizona Board of Regents through the Eisenhower Science and Math Education Act, and (2) the Howard Hughes Medical Institute's Undergraduate Biology Education Initiative.
